We took a plane (Jetstar) to Da Nang to avoid a 21h bus ride.. the central coast is beautiful.. and although we were really lucky with the rain season so far, it is nice to be back on the beach... we settled down between Da Nang and Hoi An at a small Backpacker called Hoa's place. A well known secret so to say, in all guides but still a bit off the way and therefore unique since 1970... A place you just want to stay.. beer is copld an cheap and everybody just chills... nice..

Vietnam - HCMC scooter madness
Vietnam - HCMC food
At "quan an ngon" they took the 40 best street cooks/kitchen and offered them a fixed salary. Really good food in a nice location.
Generally, Vietnam is all about food so far anyway. Pho whatever at Hoas Pho \, supposed to be the best Pho in town (vietnamese soup made of beef)
Eggs! Berlin Katerfruehstueck!!
Different eggs! These contain halfway born ducks, the eggs were developped so far, that they contain the fetus of a duck.. speciality? we refused!!

a restaurant on the river - and where we had our first pho bo! (beef broth with veggies and noodles and breakfast here)
a typical rain season day - sun, clouds, 15min downpour, sun again
