taking a dip in the resorts fresh water spring next to the herbal sauna... nice idea and probably sells good.. however, the sauna was quite rottened and the waterhole rather a joke and definitely not worth the hike through the jungle...

Sunset activities at the Nam Ngum
The resort looked as if it was done really well, 5 years ago... and hasnt been taken care of ever since.. after a night in the middle of our room, everywhere else it rained through the roof... we got a free breakfast at least... but the upscale prices are not justified anymore, for sure!
It is located beautifully though, as the sunset pics might show...
