Just some pics from downtown close to school - and of Queen Victoria Market, only steps from MBS, where we do all our food shopping.
some people mentioned they wanted to see some down town pics - so here they are. the city is very diverse and mixes metropolitan high rise buildings with traditional housing - and small lanes with large busy streets. lovely mixture.

the food court which belongs to the market - good fresh food, but I refere the delicatessen hall inside with all the cheeses and breads and cakes and böreks... will take a camera along in the next few days and take some pictures inside.
